Life/AD&D

Life and AD&D insurance is provided to all eligible Union members at no additional cost.  The basic life insurance benefit payable to your named beneficiary is $30,000. 

 

Other benefits are payable in the case of Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D).  Your beneficiary is the person (or entity) you choose who will receive the benefit in the event of a claim.  If you do not have a beneficiary, your state's laws determine who receives the benefit.

Sickness and Accident

Sickness and Accident benefits are provided to all eligible Union members at no additional cost.  In the event of a qualified sickness or accident, you will receive a weekly benefit of $145 for a maximum of 13 weeks.
